Uterine Massage - Abdominal Therapy Treatment as taught by Rosita Arvigo.

Please note: Each time I use the name Arvigo, I am referring to the Abdominal Therapy Treatment as taught by Rosita Arvigo.

A method of massage based on an ancient technique deriving from the Maya tradition.

The treatment entails external massage of the belly, pelvis and lower back.

The massage infuses the pelvic area with energy, blood, oxygen, lymph and supports neural transmission, relaxes muscles, flexes the ligaments that support the womb, helping to reposition internal organs that have shifted and to release blocks, thus supporting reinforcement, healing and balance in the area.

The treatment is effective and beneficial for menstrual pain, hormonal irregularity at various stages of life, polycystic ovaries, digestive problems; it supports fertility (natural, or fertility treatments), and is also beneficial during all stages of pregnancy. It is also effective for back pain, men’s prostate issues, and more…

When is uterine massage not advisable?

- When there is active abdominal inflammation.

- For a month and a half after a vaginal birth.

- For three months after a caesarean section.

- If there is any risk of abdominal or pelvic cancer.

- For three months after abdominal surgery.
